Local operation
In a local application, core operations take place on the store computer. This helps with unreliable connectivity, but does not remove the need for regular backups or license activation conditions.
Services that need the internet
A service customers access through a public URL, such as an online menu, requires connectivity. Cloud backups also need the internet; review each service rather than relying solely on an offline label.
Cashier Order conditions
Checkout, inventory and core operations run locally during a valid trial or license. Offline authorization lasts 30 days and is renewed online or manually, including for perpetual licenses. The menu and Google Drive backups require connectivity.
