The computer
Start with a Windows computer and a display that fits the checkout area, and request actual installation requirements before buying a new device. Test text size, display scaling and product input in your language.
The scanner and printer
Test barcodes from your own products, Windows printer selection and Arabic and English receipts. Implemented ESC/POS support does not guarantee every thermal printer is compatible; physical printing has not yet been tested in the current project.
The drawer and scale
Ask about each function separately. Cash-drawer balances and movements are available, while automatic opening, scale integration and weight-barcode parsing are planned in Cashier Order.
